Starlight Headliner Installation in Bronx, NYC

YOUR OWN NIGHT SKY. BUILT IN.

A starlight headliner built into your factory roof — not a stick-on kit. Every star ceiling we build is engineered fiber optic rather than printed fabric: hundreds of individually placed points of light, app-controlled colour and effects, and a headliner reinstalled so cleanly it looks like the car left the factory this way. Pricing starts at $799 for a sedan and scales by vehicle type and add-ons — the full breakdown is below, and you can configure your own build with the quote tool. Every job is confirmed once we know your year, make and model.

    STARLIGHT HEADLINER — FAQ.

    • How much does a starlight headliner cost in NYC?
Pricing starts by vehicle type: $799 for Sedan/Coupe, $999 for SUV/Crossover, $1,099 for Truck/Van, and $1,299 for Luxury/Exotic. From there, add-ons like star density, RGB color, twinkle effects, shooting stars, custom constellations, and logo or name embeds are priced individually. Use the Build Your Quote tool above to get a live estimate, then send us your year, make, and model for an exact price.
    • Why does the price change by vehicle type?
Headliner size, shape, and removal complexity vary significantly between a coupe, an SUV, and a truck or van. Larger headliners require more fiber-optic points and more labor to remove and reinstall cleanly, which is reflected in the starting price for each vehicle type.
    • How many stars should a starlight headliner have?
It depends on the effect you want. Our standard field reads as a clean, evenly spaced night sky. High Density (600-800 stars, +$100) gives a clearly visible, richer field. Ultra Dense / Galaxy (900-1,200 stars, +$200) packs significantly more points for a dramatic effect, often with varying brightness to mimic depth. Bigger is not automatically better — in a small sedan roof, an ultra-dense field can read as busy, so we will tell you what suits your specific headliner.
    • Can I add a logo or my name into the star pattern?
Yes. We can embed a custom logo (+$200) or a name (+$150) directly into the fiber-optic layout, alongside your star field. Custom constellation patterns (+$150) are also available if you want specific shapes or arrangements rather than a random field.
    • Will this work with my sunroof or moonroof?
Yes. Single sunroof layouts (+$150) and panoramic/moonroof layouts (+$250) are both supported — the fiber-optic field is built around your factory glass opening so the sunroof continues to function normally.
    • What happens during a starlight headliner installation?
Your headliner comes out in factory sequence and is protected for the whole build. Each fiber-optic point is drilled and seated by hand to your chosen density and pattern, and the wiring and controller are routed behind factory trim. The headliner then goes back in OEM+, and every point of light plus any effects you selected are tested through the app before you take delivery. Builds are more involved than our other services and typically need the vehicle for multiple days — we give you a firm timeline once your configuration and vehicle are confirmed.
    • What does a fiber-optic starlight headliner look like inside a car?
By day, it looks like a normal factory headliner — you won't spot a wire or a fixture. At night, or with the interior lights dimmed, hundreds of individually placed fiber-optic points glow across the ceiling like a real night sky, with density, color, and effects set to whatever you chose at booking. Because every point is an actual fiber-optic strand — not a printed pattern or an adhesive light sheet — the effect holds up under close inspection, not just in photos.
